Heather Romanow
Since 2017, I have provided therapeutic services in a private practice setting, under the supervision of Dr. Meagan Gallagher, C.Psych. – a psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario with competency in Clinical Psychology. I have a B.A. Hons in Psychology (2009) from Carleton University and an M.Ed. (2018) in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa. I have worked in various clinical settings (The Royal Ottawa Hospital’s Child Psychiatry and Mood Disorder units, The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre’s Psychosocial Oncology Program, The Ottawa Hospital Pain Clinic) since 2007, where I was involved in multiple research projects focusing on program evaluation, patient-oriented research, and the benefits of mindfulness and interdisciplinary approaches in chronic pain management.
