Background

CAITLIN BLANEY, PH.D.

I have been conducting psychological assessments and providing treatment since 2015, in a variety of settings including private practice, The Ottawa Hospital, Correctional Service Canada, and hospitals in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Health Sciences Centre, St. Boniface Hospital). I have a B.Sc. with Honours in Neuroscience (2011) from Dalhousie University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (2021) from the University of Manitoba. My research is on the relationships between physical and mental health conditions, with a specific focus on chronic pain and anxiety.

I am in the process of completing Supervised Practice in order to register as a psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) with competencies in Clinical and Health Psychology. I am a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).
